Selma Ören

Selma ÖREN; Founder/Lawyer

Was born in 1973 in Eindhoven/the Netherlands, where she successfully completed the pre-university education at the Community Schools Genderdal in 1992. During her university education at the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University in Nijmegen, her interest in Turkey arose. Because of her interest in Turkey, she participate in a summer internship at a renowned law firm (Özsunay Law office, 1995) in Istanbul. After she graduated in private law in 1997, she made her decision to move to Turkey.

In order to start her own law firm as soon as possible, Selma successfully completed her retraining at the University of Istanbul in 2002. After she was appointed as a lawyer at the Bar of Antalya in 2003, she founded her own lawyers office. Since then, she provides various services to foreign natural, as well as legal persons dealing with Turkey. Over the years she has not only developed herself as an employer / entrepreneur, but also guided Dutch students in their international internship assignment. She has now been running her own practice for more than 20 years, with more than 25 years of practical experience.

In addition, Selma is also specialized in the field of Mediation and obtained her mediator title in 2017. 

Further more is she member of the Dutch Business Lawyers Abroad Association sinds 2019.
